Important message about COVID-19

Giant Paper Aeroplanes has been developed to comply with current restrictions for COVID-19. From 1 July 2020 Government restrictions require a ‘sign in’ contact tracing procedure and limited participant numbers to ensure social distancing is maintained at all times. Therefore please be aware if you attend this activity you will be required to provide your contact details.

In spring The Levee is Going Global. A range of activities will take place bringing the wide world to Central Maitland. Giant Paper Aeroplanes is a fun free school holiday activity for you to do with the kids.

Our friendly helpers will be setting up a stand at the top of The Bourke Street Link to hand out the activity packs every weekday during the spring school holidays (excluding Labour Day) 10.00am to 1.00pm.

FREE GIANT PAPER AEROPLANES

This activity has been designed so that participants each have their own kit to prevent different people using the same materials. The kits include an A2 piece of paper, a sticker sheet of world flags and an instruction sheet.

Once you have collected your kits from our helpers we ask that you complete the activity at a free space along The Riverwalk or on the levee bank itself.

Parental supervision is expected at all times for this activity.

Dates: Monday to Friday 28 September to 9 October (Excludes Labour Day, Monday 5 October)

Time: 10.00am to 1.00pm

Location: The Bourke Street Link (Look for the orange marquee)
